STC Solar Panels & Heat Pumps
In NSW, the Small-Scale Technology Certificates (STCs) rebate is available for both solar panels and heat pumps. This rebate is calculated based on the amount of renewable energy your system generates and can reduce installation costs significantly, with rebates typically ranging from $700 to $1,100 depending on your location and system size.

ESC Heat Pumps
The NSW Energy Savings Scheme (ESS) offers rebates through Energy Savings Certificates (ESCs) for upgrading to energy-efficient heat pumps. These rebates are part of the Home Energy Efficiency Retrofits (HEER) program and are designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by incentivising energy-efficient upgrades.

Homeowners can receive between $1,600 and $2,400 off battery installations, with additional rebates available for connecting batteries to a Virtual Power Plant (VPP).
